LED 2019 kicks off on Sunday, March 3

Sunday, marks the start of Legislative Education Day (LED) 2019, a two-day event that begins with training at the Salem Convention Center on March 3 and culminates in a day of meeting legislators at the state Capitol on March 4.

LED is an opportunity for OSEA members to educate legislators on the important work classified employees do in our K-12 schools, community colleges, education service districts, Head Start agencies, park and recreation districts and libraries. It’s also a great chance for members to dig into the legislative priorities OSEA is pursuing.

Members who plan to attend LED — or those who want to see what they’re missing — can download agendas, documents and other resources from our LED 2019 webpage.
