Pledging to defend public education
With a new year comes a chance to renew our commitment to our students, schools and communities. And although our leaders may change, these principles never do: 
- We must correct the injustice of underinvestment in our schools.
- We must defend our schools from those who want to outsource public education.
- We must insist that schools be safe for all students to learn, grow and make the most of their abilities.
