Season’s Greetings from President Stoelb

The holidays are the single, most cherished periods every year to spend precious time with family and friends, reminisce, create and share memories, and relax. It is also a great opportunity to socialize with your coworkers and fellow union members on a more personal level. Whether it’s an official chapter potluck or informal gatherings, these get-togethers are a great way to build the relationships that are imperative to remaining strong and united.
No matter our differences, it’s critical that we head into the new year unified as a union. Frankly, our ability to maintain the service levels our members expect — not to mention our capacity to fight for safer workplaces, better wages and affordable benefits at the school board and legislative levels — depends on it.
So, take this special time to enjoy the festivities, recharge and reconnect. Have a great holiday season and, most importantly, please come back ready to commit yourself to strengthening our union in 2018. Our collective effort when we are ALL IN makes us unstoppable.
